cmentarz na Dębcu…

P1000878P1000843P1000875

Cmentarz na Dębcu

w platanach i świerkach

smętny Jezusik

zwiesił głowę

udając że przysypia

słońce swym żarem

rozleniwiło czas

szyszki

kołyszą

w takt

dźwięku sygnaturki

który to święty

dziś pociąga za sznurek

Antoni

zajęty szukaniem

kolejnej zguby

Franciszek

gania po polach

licząc pisklaki

bocianów, gęsi

setek małych szarych istotek

Ambroży

uparcie przy ulach

czeka na zlatujące

z lip i wrzosowisk,

z łanów gryki

zaradne robotnice pszczół

…..

może to wiatr

zakołysał

dzwonkiem na sygnaturce

pilnując dźwięku

gromady wróbli

przyczajonych w gałązkach

zaćwierkują

powagę miejsca

przekrzykując

głuche uderzenia

serca

…….

zapalona świeczka

na znak pamięci

płatkami róż i łzami

usłane drogi do nieba

ku wiecznym odpoczywaniom

które raczysz im  dać Panie…….

A personal history in 190 objects: from Germany to the British Museum and back again

British Museum blog

Paul Kobrak, series producer, Germany: memories of a nation, BBC Radio 4

To say that it was a life-changing moment would be to seriously over-egg it. But being made the second producer on a then unheard-of project in September 2009 gave my BBC career a much-needed shot in the arm. By then I’d already celebrated my 21st ‚radio’ birthday (I started working at the BBC in 1988) and I’d been making documentaries for more than 10 years. I was beginning to wonder where I could possibly go next.

Four months later A History of the World in 100 Objects began its life on Radio 4. I doubt I’ll ever work on another project that has the same impact. Not because others would not be equally good, or just as fascinating and challenging; rather that none would break new ground in the same way nor match the scope. And its…

Holywell Bay..

Cornwall Photographic

One of my new favourite places, Holywell Bay near Newquay in Cornwall.  With a National Trust car park providing convenient parking, sand dunes, cliffs, rocky islands and the most amazing surf, this is a beach definitely worth a visit.  More to follow.  Click on the image for a sharper, clearer view.. 🙂

Jevnaker

See Norway - Se Norge

Just north of the city ‚Hønefoss’, and by the southern end of the long lake named ‚Randsfjorden’, lies a nice little settlement called ‚Jevnaker’. Both the settlement as well as the municipality itself have the same name: ‚Jevnaker’!
We are approcahing the settlement from a position  above most housing –
Bilde 550bJevnaker er en relativt liten kommune. Det samlede areal er på 225 kv.km og her bor deti underkant av 6500 mennesker, men nærheten til Randsfjorden gjør det til et trivelig sted å bo.

Jevnaker is a realively small municipality. The total area includes 225 sq.km and here live
slightly less than 6500 people. However, the closeness to…

Cranes II

A few more photos from Lake Hornborga, since it is one of the major events in southern Scandinavia, especially for natur photographers. About 150.000 people visit this place during a few weeks of bird migration. That is a lot, but it doesn’t feel crowded, maybe because people visit at all times during the day. Many find the early morning best, at sunrise, since the birds are flying in from their resting places in the middle of the lake then. I found it also interesting to see the crowds of birds during daytime, especially since they hardly react on people, contrary to what they do in nature. They have learned that the people stay behind the fences and are of no danger.
